Recent competitions have been pretty good, my season average is now was up on 2014 and I am in shape to produce something very good very soon.
I competed at the Welsh Athletics international mid week and produced my second longest throw of the season (63.30) and then competed on the Saturday in London where I threw 61.60. Both good enough to win the respective competitions and continue the season unbeaten.
This coming weekend I will travel to compete in Leiera, Portugal at an international throwing meet. There is two competitions over the two days which of course doubles my chances of producing something like what I am capable of. This venue is also a great place to throw discus, there should not be an issue with rain or bad wind conditions to contend with so I can just focus on the process.
This should be a great competition as qualification for the 2015 World championships closes on the Monday after so a lot of the top guys in Europe should be at the competition trying to lay a marker down. This would be a great time to test myself and the shape I am in.
I will be vLogging everything when I am away in Portugal, if anyone has any questions or wants me to document anything whilst away please let me know through the contact section of the website and I will get it done!
All the best,
